Asset management at its best will be the theme for this edition of EuroMaintenance. Business leaders will share their vision on developments and the future of the industry and best practices will be showcased.   Asset Performance Management versus Safety
  

  An aging asset base is a main trend in the Maintenance sector. Aging assets bring both opportunities and risks. On the one hand, it is relatively advantageous to let the assets that have been written off continue to run for as long as possible without making major investments. This can generate money, which is why the focus will soon be on keeping the existing (capital intensive) assets operational for as long as possible. On the other hand, obsolete assets bring a number of disadvantages. In general, obsolete assets are less efficient, less reliable, less 'green' and perhaps even less safe.
